If you have a bit of a sweet tooth and want to stick to your Irish roots on St. Patrick’s Day this year Fossil Creek Liquor has a cocktail that combines whiskey for your heritage with ice cream for your sweet tooth.

Ingredients:
1 ounce of Irish Whiskey
½ ounce of crème de menthe
2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
mint for garnish
brown sugar for rimming

Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on medium. Pour into a martini glass and serve cold.

And this is a light and refreshing drink that all adults can make and enjoy! Smooth and creamy, it’s the ultimate summer freshen-up cocktail!. Fossil Creek Liquor came up with this Ice Cream treat just for our North Texas friends, but anyone can enjoy — combining white Créme de Cacao, Créme de Menthe, fresh vanilla Ice Cream, and a cherry to top it off! National Ice Cream Day is Sunday, July 17 (always the third Sunday in July).

Cocktail recipe for over 21 only. Please drink responsibly.

Mint Cacao Shake Ingredients

Ingredients:

3/4 oz green Créme de Menthe (or more if you use more ice cream)
3/4 oz white Créme de Cacao (or more if you use more ice cream)
1/2 cup crushed ice
2 cups ice cream (vanilla)
Maraschino cherry for garnish is optional

Instructions:
Mix all four ingredients together in a shaker and shake until drink has the consistency of a good milk shake. Serve with a spoon and straw. Serve in “Mason Jar” or Pint Glass Garnish: Maraschino cherry (optional).

As the weather gets colder during this holiday season there is nothing quite so soothing as a mug of hot chocolate. As a child you may have sipped many hot cocoas before bed on Christmas Eve. At Fossil Creek Liquor we believe that all of the wonder of childhood continues well into adulthood and that includes our love of hot cocoa. For the adults of the house (21 and up) we have a cocktail twist on that traditional hot cocoa. This year try Prancer’s Hot Cocoa while you assist Santa with his Christmas Eve tasks.

Ingredients:
1 package of hot cocoa
1 oz. Potter’s peppermint schnapps
½ oz. Potter’s dark crème de cacao
¼ oz. Potter’s crème de menthe
Whipped cream (for topping)
1 York Peppermint patty for garnish
1 candy cane for stirring

Instructions:
Pour 1 ounce of Potter’s peppermint schnapps, ½ ounce Potter’s dark crème de cacao, ¼ ounce of Potter’s crème de menthe into a coffee mug. Add a full serving of hot cocoa and stir well with a candy cane. Cut a slit into a York peppermint chocolate and place it on the rim of the mug. Top the drink with whipped cream and serve hot.
